What is Enroflox 10 Solution
Enroflox® 10 is a veterinary-exclusive injectable antibacterial solution containing Enrofloxacin 10g per 100 mL — a third-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Manufactured by Agrovet Market S.A., it is indicated for large animals, small animals, and birds. For use by licensed veterinarians only.
Uses
Prevention and treatment of bacterial infections in cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, camels, and birds — including respiratory tract infections, genitourinary infections, bovine respiratory disease, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, mastitis-metritis-agalactia, rhinitis, and other infections caused by enrofloxacin-sensitive bacteria.
Precautions
- For veterinary use only — not for human use
- Meat withdrawal period: 10 days after last dose
- Do not administer to animals producing milk for human consumption
- Store below 30°C, away from light; keep out of reach of children and unauthorised persons
- Avoid use in young growing animals — may affect cartilage development
Side effects
- Mild pain or swelling at the injection site
- Gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea or loss of appetite
- Cartilage damage in young or growing animals with prolonged use
- Rare hypersensitivity or allergic reactions — discontinue and consult a veterinarian
